Compassionate Guidance Through Difficult Personal Times
Biography
Drew Kirages is an Indianapolis family law attorney at Cross Glazier Reed Burroughs, PC, representing clients throughout Indiana in high-stakes divorce, custody and parenting time disputes, child and spousal support, and the division of complex marital estates. He works with high net-worth individuals, business owners, and professionals whose divorces involve closely held companies, partnership interests, and other entities — matters where questions of ownership, business valuation, and control are often as consequential as the dissolution itself. Drew built this practice under the mentorship of several of Indiana's most respected family law attorneys, including his colleagues at the firm, Nancy Cross, Mark Glazier, Jim Reed, and Kate Burroughs. While his cases have been largely centralized in Hamilton County – where the firm is located in Carmel – and Marion County, his clients have taken him all across the State of Indiana.
His work is grounded in nearly ten years of courtroom experience, in addition to focusing on family law, Drew has handled criminal prosecution and defense as well as general civil litigation — a background that gives him an uncommon perspective on cases where family law and the criminal justice system intersect. He has seen firsthand how addiction, mental health, and domestic violence shape families and the litigation that follows. For clients seeking a protective order, navigating a divorce complicated by criminal allegations, or facing custody disputes where safety is at issue, Drew brings a working knowledge of both systems and understands how proceedings in one can affect the other.
Drew has been an Adjunct Professor at the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, he currently serves as a consultant to a large-scale media company producing true-crime podcasts and sits on the Board of Directors of Janus Developmental Services, Inc. in Noblesville, Indiana, which provides individuals with disabilities the opportunity to participate and contribute within their communities. Drew has presented at ICLEF’s Family Law Institute and has consistently been selected for inclusion in Indiana Super Lawyers Rising Stars in the field of Family Law since joining the firm.
