Nancy L. Cross: Ms. Cross is managing partner of the firm and a highly recognized leader within the field of family law in Indiana. She has been a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers since 1993 and has consistently been included to the list of Indiana Super Lawyers since 2004. She is certified as a specialist in family law by the Indiana State Bar Association Family Law Certification Board and is a registered family law mediator. Ms. Cross has been recognized multiple times by Indianapolis Monthly magazine as one of the Top 10 divorce attorneys in Indianapolis. A mother of two and a 1979 graduate of the University of Nebraska College of Law, she has practiced law in Indiana for over 30 years.
Mark A. Glazier: Mr. Glazier is a partner in the firm and is well known in the Indiana family law community for distinction and service. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and a certified specialist in family law by the Indiana State Bar Association Family Law Certification Board, as well as a registered mediator who is also trained in collaborative law. Mr. Glazier has been included to the list of Indiana Super Lawyers every year since 2004 and is a frequent lecturer at continuing legal education seminars. An Eagle Scout and father of four, he is a 1993 graduate of Boston University School of Law and has been admitted to the bar in both Indiana and Illinois.
James Reed: Jim Reed has dedicated his nearly 40-year legal career to all aspects of relationship transitions, from the needs of a couple entering a new relationship to the legal and financial matters involved in the dissolution of a relationship. His practice includes counseling cohabitating partners in implementing plans for estate transitions, health care decision-making, joint ownership and survivorship as well as representing partners in the conclusion of relationships, custody and support of their children, and the division of property and assets. Jim is a 1983 graduate of Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law and has been repeatedly selected for inclusion in the Indiana Super Lawyers list and The Best Lawyers in America in the field of family law.
Kathryn Hillebrands Burroughs: Ms. Burroughs is a partner in the firm and has been certified as a specialist in family law by the Indiana State Bar Association Family Law Certification Board since that designation first became available in 1992. She currently serves as a board member for the Independent Certifying Organization (ICO), which handles family law specialist certification for the Indiana State Bar Association. Ms. Burroughs has also been appointed by the Indiana Supreme Court to its advisory committee on custody and support. A 1992 graduate of Indiana University Maurer School of Law, she has been included to the list of Indiana Super Lawyers every year since 2009.
Natalie M. Snyder: Natalie Snyder is certified as a specialist in family law by the Indiana State Bar Association Family Law Certification Board and is also a trained collaborative practitioner, mediator and parenting coordinator. Since 2018, she has been included to the Indiana Super Lawyers list and was included in the list of Rising Stars for over a decade before that. She is President of the Central Indiana Association of Collaborative Professionals and is known for developing customized custody and parenting time plans and using alternative dispute resolution techniques effectively when that is possible. A 2001 graduate of Indiana University Maurer School of Law, lives in Cicero with her husband and daughter.
Lana Lennington Pendoski: Lana Pendoski is an experienced family law attorney, registered domestic relations mediator and trained parenting coordinator who handles the full range of family law and marriage dissolution issues. This includes property division, child custody and support, guardianships and premarital agreements. She is chair of the Indiana Continuing Legal Education for family law mediators and a frequent presenter at seminars for attorneys and mental health professionals on divorce and custody issues. A 1997 graduate of Valparaiso University Law School, she was included to the list of Indiana Super Lawyers for 2019-2020.
Amy E. Higdon: Amy E. Higdon is certified as specialist in family law by the Indiana State Bar Association Family Law Certification Board and is well-trained and experienced in collaborative law methods. For over two decades, she has helped clients resolve custody and support, property division and all other divorce and family law issues as fairly, efficiently and amicably as possible. She serves on the board of the Central Indiana Association of Collaborative Professionals and on the Family and Juvenile Law Section Council of the Indiana State Bar Association. A 1999 graduate of Indiana University Maurer School of Law, she was included to the list of Indiana Super Lawyers for 2019-2020.
Michael Kohlhaas: Mike Kohlhaas concentrates his practice in a variety of personal representations for high-net-worth clients, including in the areas of matrimonial law and wealth transfer planning. He understands the unique needs of wealthy clients, such as wealth preservation and transition planning, counsel on closely held business activities, representation in family law matters and tax counsel.
Beth A. Barnes: Beth A. Barnes joined the firm in 2016, with six years of experience in civil litigation that included numerous family law matters. She now focuses her practice on family law, handing cases involving divorce, child custody and support, marital agreements, guardianships, decree modification and any other issues in need of resolution. A 2009 graduate of Indiana University Maurer School of Law, she has been included to the list of Rising Stars in Indianapolis Monthly magazine from 2015 to 2010 is a trained guardian ad litem.
Jane Daet: Jane Daet is an associate with Cross Glazier Burroughs, P.C. and has been part of the team since 2001 and she has been working in the legal field since 1989. Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, Ms. Daet received her social science B.S. degree with a minor in psychology at Indiana University Purdue University of Indianapolis and obtained a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. She is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association, Indianapolis Bar Association and the Hamilton County Bar Association. Ms. Daet has served as a Court Appointed Guardian Ad Litem. Ms. Daet is also married and a mother of four children.
Brandon C Elkins-Barkley: Brandon C. Elkins-Barkley’s practice is focused on complex family law litigation, tax, and the division of various types of retirement and employment benefits. Brandon provides comprehensive family legal services involving custody disputes, parenting issues, and including high net-worth clients with complex benefits packages and financial issues. Brandon practices in state and federal courts. In addition to his law degree, Brandon achieved a Masters of Law in Taxation from the University of Denver. While Brandon is a family law attorney with over a decade of experience, his practice has allowed him to represent clients in the Indiana Supreme Court, Indiana Court of Appeals, state trial courts, and in federal administrative appeals.
