A partner in the firm, Mr. Woolsey is a Certified Family Law Specialist - Family Law Certification Board since 2002, has been a Family Law Mediator since 1996, and a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Attorneys since 1998. He has been named a Super Lawyer by Indianapolis Monthly magazine each year since 2006, and participates regularly as a lecturer and author on family issues for the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum and the Indianapolis Bar Association. His recent presentations include a review of changes to Indiana's custody relocation statute, a discussion of family law trends and developments, and what to know about appealing a family law case.  In 2011, Mr. Woolsey was guest lecturer at the Indiana University Kelley School of Business where he filmed three (3) family law lectures to be included within an on-line course offered beginning in 2012.  Mr. Woolsey has also been a Distinguished Fellow of the Indianapolis Bar Foundation since 2006.  He has extensive experience representing clients in the trial courts and before the Indiana Court of Appeals and the Indiana Supreme Court.  He is a 1981 graduate of Wabash College, magna cum laude, with distinction in psychology, where he continues to assist as a moot court judge, and in 1984 he received his law degree from Indiana University. He served as law clerk to Magistrate J. Patrick Endsley, United States Federal District Court, for two years, and has limited his practice to family law for the last 34 years. Mr. Woolsey lives with his wife in Fishers, Indiana, where he has served as president of the Fishers Metropolitan Fire Merit Board, as advocate for the Knights of Columbus Council #6923, and he is on the Board of Directors for the Fishers Home Corporation - an adjunct of KofC Council #6923.
